Selwyn School is a private K-12 school that was originally housed on a campus designed by O'Neil Ford. After they moved to a new site we were asked to develop a phased master plan that would provide learning facilities tailored to their educational vision while allowing them to strategically grow the size of their program. The desire to connect students to the outdoors guided our every move and our plan took advantage of the wooded topography of the site to create a learning street that connected several small classroom pavilions with “maker barns” where students could collaborate inside or outside on projects.
